• What types of clients do you work with?

We primarily serve individuals and couples who are retired or approaching retirement, but we have the expertise to support clients of all ages. Whether you live locally or across the country, we offer both in-person and virtual services to make financial guidance accessible and convenient.

  • What financial planning services do you provide?

Our services cover the full spectrum of retirement and wealth-building needs, including tax planning, tax return preparation (for investment clients), estate planning, investment planning, charitable giving strategies, Medicare and Social Security guidance, life insurance, and annuity solutions. We tailor each plan to support your long-term financial stability and personal goals.

  • What is your investment philosophy?

We believe in creating simple, adaptable investment plans designed to support both short- and long-term financial and personal goals. Our focus is on clarity, discipline, and ongoing adjustments as your life evolves.

  • How do you charge for your services?

For advisory accounts, we charge an advisory fee based on a percentage of your invested assets (AUM). For principal-guaranteed accounts, you do not pay a direct fee—our compensation comes from the firms that issue those products. We are always transparent about how we’re paid so you can feel confident in every recommendation.

  • Do you act as a fiduciary?

Yes. As a fiduciary, we put your best interests first at all times. Our guidance is objective, transparent, and aligned with your financial goals.

  • Do you offer virtual financial planning meetings?

Yes. We use tools like Zoom and DocuSign to provide a seamless virtual experience for clients who prefer online meetings or live long-distance. You can complete paperwork electronically and meet from anywhere.

  • What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your first appointment helps us understand your full financial picture. Please bring recent statements for investment accounts, your most recent tax return, bank statements, information about any outstanding debt, an idea of your monthly expenses, and any other documents that may help us understand your goals and situation.

  • What can I expect during our first meeting?

We’ll focus on learning about your financial goals, concerns, and priorities. We’ll review your current financial documents, discuss your retirement timeline, and outline initial planning opportunities such as tax strategies, investment adjustments, or estate considerations. There is no pressure—it's simply a conversation to see if we're a good fit.

  • How do you help with retirement planning?

We help you estimate retirement income needs, optimize Social Security benefits, navigate Medicare decisions, integrate tax-efficient withdrawal strategies, and build an investment plan that supports stable, long-term retirement income. Our goal is to help you retire with clarity and confidence.

  • Do you offer tax planning and preparation?

Yes. For investment clients, we provide both tax planning and tax return preparation. This allows us to proactively manage your portfolio with tax efficiency in mind and help you make smart decisions throughout the year—not just at tax time.

  • Can you help with estate planning?

Absolutely. We work with you to build an estate plan that reflects your wishes, protects your assets, and supports your loved ones. We coordinate with your attorney when needed and help ensure your beneficiaries, trusts, and overall legacy strategy remain up to date.

  • How do you approach charitable giving strategies?

We help you integrate charitable giving into your financial plan through tax-efficient strategies such as donor-advised funds, qualified charitable distributions (QCDs), and appreciated asset donations. Our goal is to help you support the causes you care about while maximizing tax benefits.

  • What are your office hours?

Our office is open Monday–Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Virtual meetings may be available outside standard business hours upon request.

  • Can you help me choose the right Medicare and Social Security options?

Yes. We guide you through the complexities of Medicare enrollment, coverage choices, and Social Security claiming strategies so you can make well-informed decisions that support your long-term retirement income plan.
