Jeff Gollehon

Jeff is the owner and founder of JG Financial Consulting in Aberdeen. He started his career with Prudential Ins. Co. In Lorain, Ohio in 1984 after graduating from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Finance. While with Prudential, Jeff worked in the Lorain, North Olmstead, and Mentor, Ohio offices. Jeff left Prudential in 1995 to hang his own shingle and has been working as an independent advisor ever since.  

Jeff moved to Whispering Pines, North Carolina in 1999 with his wife, Laura and two kids, Garrett and Danielle. He joined his father Jake Gollehon in his insurance consulting business and Jeff ultimately took over that business in 2013 when Jake retired and now Danielle has joined - making it 3 generations strong.

Jeff’s wife Laura Gollehon is a highly respected and successful realtor in Moore County since 2010, and their son Garrett is married with 2 daughters in Buckeye Country.

Jeff works primarily with those retiring and nearing retirement but works with those from all walks of life and enjoys helping clients to create simple and flexible plans to achieve financial security in retirement. Jeff and Danielle work together on everything from wealth management and tax planning to Medicare and Social Security.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Laura, playing golf, putzing in his garage, and playing with their big yellow lab Brutus and husky-lab mix Carmen.
